It isn't often I go out of my way to send a positive feedback email to a company which has rendered me a service. In most cases, I consider them to fall into the category of a company doing their job. However, my experience with Reliable Van & Storage has led me to feel compelled enough to share the following wonderful customer service experience. I stumbled onto Reliable Van & Storage while conducting some light research for moving van quotes prior to a recent move cross-country. At the time, I hadn't really considered a full-service moving company to be a viable option given my limited financial resources. In my mind, I had always just assumed that I would be charged a hefty premium to choose a moving company over a U-Haul or other truck rental service. So when I requested a quote, I did so more to confirm my suspicions than anything. Shortly after requesting a quote, I was greeted with a phone call from a pleasant man named George. During our first call, George took the time to get to know me and ask some basic questions about my move. At that point, I felt as though there was enough potential to get a full estimate. George proceeded to ask me a series of thoughtful, detailed questions about the belongings in my household in order to provide me with a realistic estimate (in the end our original estimate was within 250 lbs. of the actual weight of the truck after everything had been loaded!). Could not ask for anything more from a mover. They showed up on time for each appointment to discuss costs of our move. They gave us a clear written estimate. There were NO surprises at all. On the day of the move, they showed up on time with a large group of guys to make sure that everything got loaded in a timely manner. It rained most of the day, but that did not deter them one bit. They put down mats to make sure our house stayed clean. They were careful with all of our furniture. At the other end, the furniture was delivered in a timely basis. Most of our stuff was being delivered to a garage for storage and the rest to a 2nd floor apartment. They did a great job separating the items and working with us to make sure everything went where it belonged. We simply could not ask for more!

Dear George, In the midst of crazy events of Hurricane Irene,no power and a basement that had flooded causing all packed boxes to be destroyed, needless to say a mess. We decided not to postpone our move, with help from family,friends and a generator we got all things repacked and ready for pickup. The" Reliable" men showed up on Tuesday and to my surprise were the most professional,kind and well mannered movers I have ever met. Cesare,Julio and Luis took such great care of the furniture[some which were antiques] and all the belongings. They were by far the best movers I ever had the pleasure of working with. They moved us across country to CA and since we had such a great experience with them, we contacted them two years later to move us back to the east coast.
