Allied Van Lines Inc., one of the world's largest moving companies and a subsidiary of SIRVA Worldwide, Inc., was awarded with Logistics Management's 2013 Quest for Quality award in the Household Goods category. The company ranked first for on-time performance and customer service among household & high value goods carriers.
This marks the 20th time that Logistics Management has honored Allied with a Quest for Quality award.
Allied was selected as one of the 30th annual Quest award winners by qualified buyers of logistics and transportation services, based on five key criteria: On-time Performance, Value, Information Technology, Customer Service and Equipment & Operations.
"We strive everyday to earn our customers' trust and loyalty by delivering the highest quality and customer satisfaction,'' said Lesli Bertoli, vice president and general manager of Allied Van Lines. "Being recognized with a Quest for Quality award for the twentieth time is a testament to our commitment to improve the moving experience to our customers." For three decades, Logistics Management's Quest for Quality Survey has been regarded in the transportation and logistics industry as the most important measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence. It's the only survey of its kind in the market that rates carriers, third-party logistics service providers and U.S. port operators strictly on the basis of service quality.
